Clean lines feature well in this bold and stylish captain's platform bed frame. The 4-drawer storage system in this frame is built for solid reliability. The individual drawers are a strong interior of 9-stratum laminate finished to match the exterior wood, mounted on 14" full extension ball-bearing Glide Rails. Pictures can't convey the quality of construction of the entire frame, and just how smoothly the drawers operate.

This frame is fashioned from solid oak hardwood veneer, tinted with either an Espresso (a soft black) or Antique Mahogany Stain, and carefully finished with a layered clear medium gloss coating to protect the warmth and character of the grain. The grain of this wood is very defined, and the pictures don't do the beautiful finish justice. The espresso is a truly rich brown or dark walnuty color.
