I used it to upholster a backrest for a Banquettte. I used one inch thick foam with Book Wrap Dacron. The backrest used webbing for support. I probably need more experience choosing the foam and Dacron. My project ended up too thick. Possibly less Dacron would have been better with the foam glued directly to the frame. Foam was a little too rigid although really quite comfortable. I could have put less tension on the webbing, as it is quite stiff now. I am a little disappointed in the profile of the foam/Dacron combination across the top of the piece. I put the wrapped part of the foam on top of the piece and had to stretch the Dacron and glue it to the top of the frame in order to minimize the gap between the frame and the foam. Now, with the cover on, the gap is not too noticeable. Maybe I should have used the other end of the book wrap for the top??? Overall, I would do another project and also use Foam Order for supplies.

I am not an expert on foam so I was worried that the EverFlex V44 Firm foam would be too firm for my couch seating cushions. I think it is a great balance of support (I don't sink into the couch any more) and comfort. Time will tell if they hold up, but for the first week I am happy with them. They are kind of expensive and if you have a cheap couch it would be tempting to just buy a new couch, but if you have a nice couch, it is worth the cost.
