I have gone thru three ottomans in the last year because i could not find the correct filling for it. One was styrofoam balls, one was foam pieces. And the last popcorn styrofoam. None of them were firm enough for my ottoman my feet would sink down. This foam fits my ottoman cover perfectly and is nice and firm.
