I bought the 5" to make sleep and seat cushions for my travel trailer. I do think the V34 is still a little to firm, but hopefully after a little use it will soften up. The 1" will be a covering for a back rest. It will do the job nicely. I do prefer firm sleeping so it isn't that I want soft. Otherwise, the foam is shipped amazingly well. In the past I have had custom cushions made by FoamOrder. They were exactly what I ordered.

The foam was used to supplement the existing foam in the bottom sofa cushions. Although it was a bit of a struggle to push the foam smoothly inside (should have ordered half inch thickness as opposed to the one inch), the cushions look and feel like new couch cushions. The sagging and creases have disappeared. I am very pleased with the results.
